No More Google – For Me

10

I no longer use Google as my search engine.

They’ve ruined online businesses that help support peoples families, thereby sending parents of children scrambling to find work, or other ways of supporting their families and this being in a BAD economy.

Legitimate businesses who have nothing wrong with their websites, cannot be found on Google right now because of Google’s latest update. Try it yourself. At least do a few searches and see.

Yeah, they’ve pretty much wrecked my online businesses (several dating sites) that were supporting my family, paying for my health insurance, paying for the food we eat on our table, our gas and electric bill and many other bills as well as birthday presents, Halloween costumes and Christmas presents.

I have Google to thank, for both making my businesses good for a time, then pulling them right out from under me.

Therefore, I am no longer going to be using Google as my search engine of choice, I am going to Yahoo. I will make sites for the reader and for yahoo’s index, not Google’s.

I’m asking you all to do this with me as well as many other people whom Google has made a mess of their financial income and caused insecurity and stress to their lives.

All this during a terrible economy. What a way to help the people of America to make a better life, or at least survive enough to support a family while trying to find other work.

Shame on you Google, shame on your Matt Cutts.

Sincerely,
Larry Clark

Does Yahoo bring in enough traffic for your sites (in terms of monetization)?

    • Larry C. says:

that’s a trick question. When there’s no traffic coming from Google that’s where the traffic is coming from. But the thing is, is to get people to STOP using Google as their search engine, so Google will lose money, and maybe change their perspective on how they treat people on the web.

  2. Michael says:

Hi Larry, I would suggest to use Bing instead of Yahoo.

Bing powers all yahoo search results, so it’s better off sticking with Bing and getting familiar with their tools.

For example, they have excellent tools for webmasters, better in many ways than Google’s tools.

I think you shouldn’t blame something that did good things to you and then it starts to refuse doing so

    • Larry C. says:

really? why? it was doing good but then it turned against me, and many others. IN a failing economy, Google has hurt so many people, legitimate businesses that they have no sympathy from me. I hope the government takes them down.
      Good Day.

Hello Larry. I am really sorry to learn about this development. So what are you up to these days? How are your sites performing? Hope things are bouncing back up. Best wishes from a loyal reader!
